Inspiration
For Bethel Baptist Church's website rebranding and redesign, Rose + Swan Co.’s goal was to create a platform that honors the church's rich heritage and deep roots in the Socrum community of Lakeland, Florida. This new website celebrates Bethel Baptist Church’s enduring presence since its founding on October 26, 1863, when Reverend Alderman Wilson and 19 devoted members gathered to establish the church.
A key design focus was the iconic red brick sanctuary, completed in 1928, and still stands today, serving as the hub for youth ministry and Bethel’s small groups. This sanctuary became the church's spiritual heart, serving as the primary location for nearly eighty years. Rose + Swan Co. highlighted this historic structure in the new logo design, and ensured the new website reflects the warmth and legacy of this iconic building and its place in the community's spiritual life. The updated platform combines modern functionality with traditional aesthetics, fostering a sense of honor + connection to the past while supporting Bethel Baptist Church’s continued impact on its members and the surrounding community.

The website features an organic, intuitive navigation system, making it easy for visitors to explore the church's rich history and stay connected. Rose + Swan Co. prioritized accessibility to ensure everyone feels welcomed, with dedicated sections for new members, events, and service details. A regularly updated calendar keeps the congregation informed of upcoming events and important announcements, creating a dynamic and engaging digital space for Bethel Baptist Church’s community. This blend of tradition and modern functionality supports Bethel's mission of fostering spiritual growth and community connection.
